Destinations International (DI) has announced the opening of registration for Tourism for All, a virtual, self-paced certificate programme designed to help destination organisations lead community-driven, welcoming tourism that benefits both visitors and residents. Based on a framework grounded in four pillars of best practice – workplaces, visitor experience, community partnerships and marketing and promotion – Tourism for All is designed to equip destination leaders to align local businesses around shared values supporting visitor readiness, long-term community wellbeing and the competitive advantage of welcome.
“Tourism for All helps destinations move from intention to action,” said Don Welsh (pictured), president & CEO of Destinations International. “It equips leaders and businesses to create places where everyone belongs and feels welcome.”
Tourism for All offers a six-month virtual cohort experience where participants engage in expert-led online modules and practical exercises aligned to the programme’s four pillars. Upon completion, participants are prepared to implement Tourism for All locally, introducing it as a broader community strategy.
Participants retain ongoing access to all programme materials, a peer network and the ability to work with impact experts including HospitableMe, TripAdvisor, Tourism Cares, The Culturist Group and Wheel the World.
Cohort 1 will run 3 March 31 August, 2026 and is priced at $795 for DI members and $995 for non-members. More information available online
