Georgia, US, tourism board, Explore Brookhaven has announced a slew of new staff announcements and a move to new premises at the Brookhaven City Centre. The news is likely to fuel further momentum in elevating Brookhaven as a destination for meetings and events.
Explore Brookhaven has named Tim Grow (pictured) as executive director and Megan Brown as director of marketing, while David Kemp continues to lead sales efforts as director of sales. These appointments coincide with the organisation’s relocation to the new Brookhaven City Centre, where it will also manage the venue space, expanding its ability to support meetings, events and community programming.
By managing the venue space within the City Centre, Explore Brookhaven will play a direct role in attracting events, supporting local partners and activating a central gathering place for residents and visitors alike.
“I am honoured to step into the role of executive director and grateful for the trust placed in me by the Board and the City of Brookhaven,” said Grow. “I’m excited to build on the strong foundation already in place and work closely with our partners to continue elevating Brookhaven as a vibrant, welcoming destination for visitors and our community alike.”
Explore Brookhaven also recently achieved Destination Marketing Accreditation Program (DMAP) status through Destinations International. The accreditation places Explore Brookhaven among an elite group of destination organisations nationwide.
