Cvent has acquired video platform Goldcast, a service that uses AI to automate video production – with a focus on B2B webinars and events. The deal expands Cvent’s event marketing and content capabilities.
Cvent said the acquisition allows marketers to turn live event sessions into video content, including clips, summaries and post-event recaps. By integrating Goldcast into its platform, Cvent aims to help teams reuse event content faster, while extending the value of webinars and conferences across marketing and sales channels.
Goldcast’s central value offering is to reduce the time needed to create post-event assets. Marketers can host an event, then repurpose content immediately. The AI-powered service has been recognised as a fast-growing technology company, ranking on Deloitte’s 2025 Technology Fast 500.
Palash Soni, chief executive and co-founder of Goldcast, said: “Together we’ll put same-day, on-brand video in more marketers’ hands – so they can publish, personalise, and enable sales faster.”
Reggie Aggarwal, founder and chief executive of Cvent, said: “This acquisition reflects our strong belief in the power of AI-driven video and the role it will play in the future of event marketing.” He added: “With Cvent and Goldcast together, teams can move faster and keep their audiences engaged at every step of the customer journey.”
The acquisition brings video creation into Cvent’s event workflow, as well as linking event data with video engagement metrics. Cvent said this will give marketers clearer insight into buyer behaviour. The combined tools are aimed at improving ROI from events.
