Maritz’s brand event Activate 2025 has achieved BRONZE level certification under the Events Industry Council’s Sustainable Event Standards.
Activate is Maritz’s annual internal event for supplier partners and team members. The 2025 edition is the first Maritz brand event to be certified under the EIC framework.
The EIC Sustainable Event Standards assess environmental and social responsibility across areas including organisational management, climate action, materials and circularity, supply chains, accessibility, diversity, equity and inclusion, and social impact.
Certification was independently verified by the Alliance for Audited Media, which conducted third-party auditing against the Event Organiser standard.
The EIC standards were developed through a global consultation process involving industry professionals and are intended to provide a measurable framework for sustainable event delivery.
Activate 2025 met the criteria required for BRONZE level certification under the programme.
